My Favourite MS Access Books

I see many requests on the newsgroups for good book references. Here are my favourite 3, with links to the Amazon bookstore in Canada (Can) or the United States (U.S.).

I have 3 or 4 other titles in my personal collection; the last 2 above are my favourites. If I was to do it all over again, I would probably skip the Dummies book and go straght to the Wrox one. However, I was a programmer before I met Access.

I recently read about "Expert One-on-One Microsoft Access Application Development". Have not had a chance to read it yet, but it sounds great. Some good info on automation (one of my favourite topics) and other good material on using VBA. Not actually written for people like myself, but rather people like my readers. People who have been using a bit of VBA but want to go further. To quote Amazon, "This book is for experienced Access users who are familiar with creating Access objects and writing VBA code, but who need help transitioning from competent users/programmers to full-fledged Access developers."

If Half-Price Computer books has the book you are looking for, you'll save $$$. They seemed to be missing some of the titles I have above, but the prices are great. Check out their selection by clicking here, where every book is always on sale!
(note to Canadians - see special link in bottom right corner of first page)

Happy Coding
